This is a refurbished(new laser etc.) Philips-BenQ VAD6038 DVD-Drive, it is flashed with standard firmware, it is one of the first generation of Xbox drives and was used widely in the first HDMI consoles.
Can be used for Dirty Disk errors, if you get reading errors in general and the like.
