Here is a nice tutorial on replacing MOSFETs for the Xbox 360.
This is often the only way to get rid of power related problems that are indicated by error codes like 0001, 0002, 0003, 0020, 0021 etc.
If a console suffers from any of these errors you can try this as a last resort it often works and is definitely worth trying.
